In 1996, at just 25 years old, Chad Good Sr. founded Good’s Plumbing, Heating & Cooling from a small garage with a big vision. After completing his training at Mon Yough Plumbing School and earning his Master Plumbing License, Chad set out with a clear goal: to build a company rooted in quality workmanship, integrity, and service.
In the early years, his primary focus was plumbing, and he poured himself into growing the business one customer at a time. Through hard work, long hours, and an unwavering commitment to excellence, the company steadily expanded. Recognizing the evolving needs of the community, Chad soon broadened the company’s services to include heating and cooling, transforming the business into a comprehensive home comfort provider.
Chad credits much of his strong foundation and early success to the mentorship and support of Harold Spears of Spears’ Plumbing. That guidance, combined with his own dedication, helped shape the company’s values and standards that remain in place today. Chad Sr. continues to maintain his Master Plumber License along with numerous additional certifications, ensuring that Good’s Plumbing, Heating & Cooling remains a trusted, full-service resource for the community.
For more than 30 years, Chad and his wife, Dee, have proudly called the North Huntingdon area home, raising their four children in and around the family business. Their deep roots in the community reflect their belief that business is personal — built on relationships, trust, and gratitude. Both Chad and Dee extend their heartfelt appreciation to the incredible community whose support and loyalty have truly blessed their family and their business.
